The Steedman Fellowship provided the opportunity to travel abroad for an academic year and to present the research in a lecture at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. The travel fellowship focused on the phenomenal intersection of architecture and landscape in Japan and Europe. An exhibit of infrared photography accompanied the lecture given at Washington University in March 2004.
